The Procedure
The procedure is very straight forward and simple. As with all laser hair removal treatments it is important to arrive with the treatment area shaved the day before and to avoid tanning, sun exposure and self-tanners before treatment.
Our Aesthetician will begin by gently cleansing the treatment area and applying ultrasound jelly. Then the treatment starts by holding the light-emitting device in contact with the skin. After a simple pull on the trigger, the device evenly swept over the treatment area until the entire area has been uniformly treated.
The procedure has minimal discomfort and no associated down time.
The Result
You will notice a gradual reduction in hair growth after each session. Hair becomes finer and sparser over time. Most patients require a series of 4 to 6 treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. This schedule helps to target hair in different growth cycles for more effective results.
After treatment, it is important to avoid dun exposure and apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with atleast SPF 30 on the treated area. You will also want to refrain from using harsh skin products (like retinoids or exfoliants) and the treated area for a few days. You will want to keep the skin well-moisturized with a gentle moisturizer.
