How Does It Work?

ClearSilk is a non-invasive, gentle laser treatment that offers the benefits of skin rejuvenation with no discomfort and zero downtime and can be used to treat all skin types and skin tones.

It uses a 1064nm Nd:YAG laser to deposit heat energy deep within the dermis targeting multiple chromophores and stimulate collagen production. As the heat rises slowly to the target temperature, it causes bulk heating encouraging the bodies natural response to clear pigment, reduce vascularity and improve the overall appearance of tissue.

It is effective in reducing redness and rosacea, diminishing pigmentation issues like sun spots, age spots, and melasma, as well as improving skin texture, reducing fine lines and improving overall skin tone.

The result is a glowing complexion that keeps improving with each treatment.

The Procedure

Our Aesthetician will begin by gently cleansing the treatment areas.

Then the treatment starts by moving the laser beam back and forth above the skin over the treatment areas until therapeutic temperature has been reached. You will experience a gentle sensation of warmth like warm sunshine with drips of warm candle wax. Once the process is complete the areas are covered in a moisturizing cream or serum and sunscreen.

The typical treatment last about 30 minutes, more for multiple treatment areas.

No, there is no downtime with the ClearSilk treatment. You can resume your normal activities immediately. It is important to follow your post-care instructions. You may be given some skin care products and instructions on how to use them. Your skin will be sensitive to Ultraviolet light, and you must avoid direct sun exposure. You need to fully cover your skin or use a good sunscreen whenever you go outdoors.
